Summer offers, 2008
A four day three night holiday offering a choice of accommodation as below
Option A: Stay at The Chedi Hotel for two nights where you will experience the crystal clear Gulf waters and mirror images of the glorious mountain ranges.
Option B: Stay at The Radisson SAS Hotel for two nights located in the heart of Muscat overlooking the Hajar Mountains.
The full day Muscat city tour will include Al Alam Palace, Mirani & Jalali forts, Matrah Souq, Museum and the Grand Mosque.
The following day, you will head east to Ras Al Hadd in Sharqiyah, eastern Oman, which is blessed with beautiful beaches. It is one of the major nesting locations of the endangered green turtle..
The summer monsoon between June to September is the season when most of the nesting green turtles return to lay their eggs at Ras al Jinz, although they can be seen all year round. The female turtles are best seen on the beach at dusk and at sunrise. It is imperative to make no noise or shine lights on them. Your guide will show you the way.
You will stay overnight at the Ras al Hadd Beach Hotel.

On the following day, on the way back to Muscat, you will drive on the coastal road to Jalan Bani bu Ali to visit the unique Mosque which traces its origins to the Umayyad Dynasty 661-750 A.D. This mosque is famous for its multi-dome structure - 44 domes in all.
At the next stop, you will be able to explore Wadi Bani Khalid, set amongst mountains and well known for its turquoise-green pools and cascading waterfalls, a veritable and unexpected oasis in the desert.
Driving back to Muscat, you will skirt the great Wahiba sands, longitudinal dunes 200 kms long and 100 kms wide running out from the eastern Hajar mountains to the Arabian Sea. The dunes are 100-150 metres high and range in hue from red to orange and shades of amber. A Bedouin camp can be found along the tracks and trails in this isolated desert. In sporadic areas strands of single species woodlands can be found. Where the sands meet the ocean, outcrops of sandstone display unusual and attractive abstract shapes. Here the beaches mellow into soft shades of yellow and white.
